BOOKLET PRINT PLANNER
Signatures, sizing & margins
One folded booklet treats all selected pages as one nested section. Smaller signatures split the selection into independent sections of 8, 16, 24 or 32 pages, padding the final section if needed. Keep signatures separate while folding and assembling; they are not one continuous nested stack.
How it works
Each source page is fitted proportionally into a half-sheet, preserving its crop box and rotation. Outer margin protects paper edges; center gap reserves space beside the fold. This tool does not add bleed, trimming allowance or creep compensation. Interactive PDF forms must be flattened first; annotations, links and attachments are not copied to the print output.
Booklet page order
A folded sheet has four booklet pages: two on the front and two on the back. The planner pads the selected pages to a multiple of four with blanks at the end. Blank panels are intentional; they do not delete or repeat your source pages.
↗02Duplex & manual printing
Download the imposed PDF, then print it in ordinary one-page-per-side mode on landscape sheets. Do not apply another booklet or two-up setting. Use actual size or 100% on matching paper. Short-edge duplex is the usual starting point for landscape booklet sheets, but test your printer driver before a full run.
